The University of Memphis Physics Department ranks in top 10 of American Physical Society M.S. granting institutions.

Dr. Joan Schmelz, professor of physics, has been named recipient of the Faudree Professorship. She will be honored at the University's Faculty Convocation on April 23.

 

Dr. Robert Marchini, professor of physics, has been named a recipient of the Alumni Association's Distinguished Teaching Award. He will be honored at the University's Faculty Convocation on April 23.
